How to switch to a virtual office. It feels weird at first and, for some, very uncomfortable. For me, at first, I was sad. I had opened a branch office in my town and loved it so much. It was roomy, it had all of my self built technology-computers, networks. My office had a gigantic flat screen for presentations, a podcast room for my housing warrior spiel, and real estate coaching training sessions. It was modern and sleek, and I loved it.
But reality kicked in when I realized I worked in my car more than in the office. The overhead to keep the office didn’t make economic sense. I said no more. It’s time to go virtual.
Now, make sure you check your state’s rules. Not every state allows a complete virtual office. Even EXP in Pennslyvania, my state, has a closet of an office, but a physical office nonetheless. It’s the rules which are very antiquated.
Therefore, here’s what to look out for when switching to a virtual office.
